Velvet in fashion industry has taken off the past few seasons, while the current trend has almost inevatibly transferred into the design world. I’m always attracted to tactile materials, velevet not only feels soft but looks soft, immediately lending decadence, softness and warmth to a space when introduced. You can alter the depth of this depending on the colour of velvet you choose; this season is all about rich and bold hues – from bright orange ottomans to coral pink office chaurs – I’m a big fan of the soft grey options on offer across both specialist and high street stores, so theres sure to be something for all.
